BROSMIND ARMY

The Canotiers is a military unit of our Brosmind Army, a personal project of ours. A limited series of fifty ceramic sculptures, the Canotiers are named after the straw hat they wear. Although they’re all made from the same mold, each sculpture is unique in the design of its face, tattoo, and ID tag. The soldiers’ facial expressions can be changed by turning the hats. The project was exhibited at Otrascosas Villarrosás in Barcelona and Kemistry Gallery in London in 2010.
