HOLA, WE ARE BROSMIND!

Juan and Alejandro Mingarro, born in Spain in 1978 and 1981. We are brothers, friends, enemies, illustrators, artists, amateur tech designers, video enthusiasts, bocadillo de fuet lovers, lecturers, occasional musicians. In 2007 we founded our studio in Barcelona where we work with all of the above disciplines through commissions, personal projects and exhibitions. Our work has been published, exhibited and awarded worldwide.

Somehow it was always meant to be! Growing up as brothers, our creative partnership began at an early age. We spent our childhood in Spain drawing comics, building vehicles for our toys, and shooting action videos on our parents’ camcorder. A few years after graduating from Elisava School of Design, we joined forces once again when we founded Brosmind.

We have a weekly show where we talk about creative freedom, artistic fulfilment, technique, style, and many other topics through a selection of projects spanning our entire career and childhood.

We are very grateful being able to work with our biggest passions! This has been made possible through collaborations with great clients such as Apple, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Google, Nike, Ray-Ban, The NY Times Magazine, National Geographic, Land Rover, Pepsi, Facebook, Honda, TOUS, Gillette, HP, Beefsteak, Oreo, Vogue Taiwan, Mobile World Congress, FNAC, Mailchimp, Phish, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Le Monde, Bicycle, TOYO Steel, and Hypergames.

We are passionate about our work. We are convinced that if you love what you do, it shows in the results... and in the recognition. Throughout our career we have been honored with some of the most prestigious awards, such as Cannes Lions, Clio, Eurobest, Graphis, Communication Arts, Lüzer's Archive... in short, many more than we had ever dreamed of. Throughout our career we have fallen and gotten up many times. That is the essence of learning, and all those teachings must be shared. That is precisely what we do in our conferences and workshops. Using humor and a very personal staging, if you have ever seen us in any of our performances on stage, you will know what we are talking about. We have been lecturers at the main festivals of the creative game, like OFFF, Adobe MAX, TYPO Berlin, FITC, Pictoplasma and we have given dozens of workshops around the world.
